In collaboration with fifteen different organizations, the Ministry of Higher Education, Labour, and Skills Development conducted the expo, "Dhaalan: The Bridge to Your Future," on March 4, 2024. The Expo is dedicated to students interested in developing their qualifications and skills to prepare for the dynamic work environment of the Maldives.
The Ministry has accomplished nine objectives from the Manifesto developed by the Maldivian government, named “Haftha 14.” Achievements include youth developmental strategies for traditional carpentry, Kissaru Vadaan, fashion designing, and other similar sectors. Additionally, environmental courses have been developed, and accommodation for students in the atolls has been provided to improve higher education opportunities for students from rural areas. A national research fund has also been established for the first time.
The Expo was led by the Ministry of Higher Education, Labour, and Skills Development, along with the Maldives Qualification Authority, Maldives National Skills Development Authority (MNSDA), Job Center, Maldives National University (MNU), Islamic University of Maldives (IUM), and a total of 15 government organizations.

The Expo took place from 16:00 to 18:00 and 20:00 to 22:00 on March 4, 2024, at Maldives National University.
