The Maldives National Skills Development Authority (MNSDA) held a workshop named "Assessor Workshop" to maintain the standards of national assessments, inform assessors about national assessment procedures, discuss the obstacles faced by assessors during assessments, and share their knowledge and expertise regarding these assessments.
The workshop took place in the Maldives Polytechnic conference room, with a total of 41 assessors participating. Chief Executive Officer of MNSDA, Dr. Zahra Mohamed, met with the participants to discuss ways to enhance national assessment processes.

National assessments are crucial examinations, in addition to those conducted by educational institutions, to ensure that the national competency standards are met by students who are learning specific skills and possess the qualifications, abilities, and skills required for their work.
MNSDA is an authority established by the government to provide skill development training under the Higher Education and Training Law, operating under the Ministry of Higher Education, Labour, and Skills Development.
